     Universal has updated its upcoming closures across the Orlando resort, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and the Hogwarts Express are among the attractions temporarily closing.

Hogwarts Castle}

     Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will close this November, from the 10^th through the 20^th. The 4D dark ride is the only wizarding attraction closing this year. In 2026, from February 9^th to the 23^rd, the Hogwarts Express will be shut down. Both Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida stations will be affected by the closures.

     Other temporary closures this year include Dudley Do-Right’s RipSaw Falls and the Universal Mega Movie Parade. RipSaw Falls is currently closed and will remain so through October 31^st, Halloween. The Mega Movie Parade is also currently closed but will return on October 21^st. The parade is scheduled to run daily, through November 13^th, at 2:00 p.m. Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will begin on November 21^st.

Jurassic Park River Adventure}

     Next year, Jurassic Park River Adventure will close for an extended period, from January 5^th to November 19^th. That is over ten months! This could be for routine refurbishments or perhaps updated theming. Revenge of the Mummy will also be temporarily closed in 2026, but for a much shorter duration. It will be closed from January 15^th to January 21^st.  This will be approximately five months since its recent refurbishment in August. There are no pending closure dates for Universal Epic Universe or Universal Volcano Bay attractions this year.
